Cartagena - Colombia
Cartagena de Indias, otherwise known as ‘The Heroic City’ was founded in 1533 by Spanish commander Pedro de Heredia. Its impressive colonial walled city and fortress have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO and the town has some stunning architecture. Cartagena is also Colombia’s premier destination for conventions and trade shows. The city has long drawn attention from incentive and corporative travelers thanks to its excellent infrastructure, amenities and colonial charm. We offer exclusive schedules with a wide range of flexible options; from visiting the old city for a walking tour and lunching in one of the many fine restaurants in the colonial centre, to embarking on a boat trip to one of the nearby exotic beaches, either for sunbathing and swimming opportunities or for something a little more adventurous like hiking, surface diving, sailing or fishing. The city’s balmy weather and lively atmosphere along with its numerous high-quality hotels, excellent conference and meeting halls, diverse nightlife and exquisite restaurants combine to make the ‘Heroic City’ the perfect place to carry out any incentive or corporate trip, as well as being a great location in which to organize team building activities.
